On Wednesday, October 12 at 3 pm, Fordham is hosting a discussion on the state of charter schooling. Chester E. Finn, Jr. and Richard Whitmire will talk about what has been accomplished, what has been learned, and what the future may hold.

Education Next recently published Richard Whitmire’s article “What’s Holding Back the Growth of the Best Charter Schools?” which is an excerpt from his new book The Founders.

Chester E. Finn, Jr. recently wrote “What Will the Next 25 Years of Charter Schools Look Like?” for Education Next, which was drawn from the forthcoming Charter Schools at the Crossroads: Predicaments, Paradoxes, Possibilities, a book he co-authored with Bruno Manno and Brandon Wright.
